July 2025 marked a major milestone for Ritter Sport UK and Ireland as the beloved German chocolate brand celebrated its 10th anniversary in style, with an unforgettable event at its UK headquarters, in Leeds.
What began in 2015 with just one employee, a car full of chocolate, and a bold belief that a square, premium brand from Germany could shake up the UK confectionery market, has since grown into the fastest-growing block chocolate brand in the UK. With a market value of £20M1 and more than fifty million consumers reached, Ritter Sport has firmly secured its place in the hearts, and cupboards of UK and Irish chocolate lovers.
The celebratory event brought together over 100 guests, including top-tier journalists, influencers, suppliers, and members of the Ritter Sport team from both the UK and Germany. Star of First Dates, Fred Sirieix, hosted the event with signature charm and warmth, welcoming guests and leading a fireside Q&A with Benedict Daniels, CEO of Ritter Sport UK.
