Go-Pak Group Achieves Highest Standard BRCGS Audit AA Grade for Fourth Year Running

Company News

GLOBAL manufacturer and supplier of sustainable packaging solutions for the food service and retail sector, Go-Pak group have achieved an AA grade in BRCGS audit for the fourth year running.

Known as the global benchmark for excellence in packaging safety and quality, the auditor awarded Go-Pak with the highest rating under the internationally-recognised standard, marking another year of outstanding performance across its operations.

Reinforcing its reputation as a trusted partner in the food packaging industry, Go-Pak – a British subsidiary of SCG Packaging supplying products to the likes of Greggs, Starbucks and Pret A Manager – can add this excellent audit rating to their roster of accreditations and awards, including Manufacturer of the Year for 2025 and The Sunday Times Best Places to Work in 2024.

The audit conducts a comprehensive assessment of systems, processes and culture, covering aspects such as hygiene, traceability and risk management. Achieving an AA grade shows that Go-Pak consistently operates at the highest level of compliance and performance, conveying a critical assurance to customers that its products are produced under stringent controls and meet the highest standards possible.

Kim Stilwell, food technical manager at BRCGS says: “In today’s complex global supply chains, logistics play a crucial role in delivering products to consumers. BRCGS certification guarantees that products are stored and distributed in a way that ensures quality and safety throughout the journey. This AA grade accomplishment reflects Go-Pak’s unwavering dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Well done to the entire Go-Pak team for setting the bar so high.”

In a competitive and highly regulated market, especially one as demanding as food packaging, BRCGS certification is more than just a badge, it’s a differentiator.

Go-Pak’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) manager Liz Jones says: “This isn’t just a certificate on the wall – it’s a promise to our customers that we meet the highest standards, day in and day out. It’s also a reflection of the incredible teamwork, preparation and pride that goes into everything we do.

“As we look ahead, we remain focused on raising the bar, delivering packaging that’s not only safe and high performing, but also responsible, innovative and built for the future.”
