Air Control Industries (ACI) has launched Hyroic, a new range of modular drying systems developed for use across food and beverage processing and packaging operations. The systems help to address moisture-related challenges that can affect product quality, packaging integrity, line reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness.
Moisture control is increasingly critical on modern production lines, where higher speeds, lightweight packaging materials, and tighter quality tolerances leave little margin for error. Residual water can lead to bottlenecks, downtime and issues such as poor code legibility, label adhesion failures, compromised seals, and rejected packs. Hyroic has been designed to target these common points of disruption in a more flexible and energy-efficient way than traditional fixed or compressed-air-based drying solutions.
The Hyroic range is modular, allowing systems to be integrated into existing lines and configured for applications including post-pasteurisation can drying, bottle and jar drying prior to labelling or coding, and moisture removal before secondary packaging. Modules can be added, repositioned, or reconfigured as products, formats, or line speeds change, enabling quick and easy adaptation without major line modifications.
All units are built around electric blower technology and use corrosion-resistant materials, with the aim of delivering consistent airflow while reducing energy consumption and maintenance demands. Standardised components are intended to support shorter lead times and simpler servicing, while optional enclosures are available for installations in noise-sensitive or hygiene-critical areas.
Dan Anjos, Business Development Manager at Air Control Industries, said: “Moisture-related issues remain one of the most frequent causes of quality defects and unplanned stoppages on food and beverage lines. With Hyroic, we have applied our airflow engineering experience in a modular format that reflects how production environments actually operate, making it easier to integrate drying into the line and to adapt it as requirements evolve.”
The initial Hyroic platform has been developed to provide a foundation for future enhancements, including performance monitoring and data capture to support predictive maintenance and connected manufacturing strategies.
Air Control Industries is a UK-based engineering specialist in industrial airflow and drying technology, supplying solutions to manufacturing operations worldwide. Hyroic represents the company’s dedicated modular drying platform for food and beverage production, designed to provide scalable, energy-efficient moisture control across a range of processing and packaging applications.
